On a warm day in August, Dutch duo ANDERSON started writing songs. With their early home-recording-demo's they managed to get signed by the promising Dutch label ‘Volkoren' which harbors bands like at the close of every day (NL/DK) and Sixteen Horsepower (USA).

ANDERSON started to perform live in 2004; intimate shows with just 2 voices and acoustic guitars. After a while they started to dress up their songs with electronic beats, samples and synths. Their music can now be described as electro-acoustic indie-pop; Kings of Convenience meets The Postal Service.

After their second gig ANDERSON won the band contest the ‘Grand Prix of South Holland'. They did great shows in some of Holland 's finest clubs: Paradiso, Nighttown, 013 and Vera. In December 2004 ANDERSON was elected by the audience as the best band at the Grand Prix of the Netherlands , the biggest Dutch band competition!
Last February, ANDERSON went on the road to tour in Germany , Sweden and Denmark.

In the summer of 2004, ANDERSON recorded their debut-album ‘we radio anderson '. The album was recorded by Martijn Groeneveld (Face Tomorrow) and produced by Minco Eggersman (the spirit that guides us, at the close of every day) and René de Vries (this beautiful mess). It was released in The Netherlands, Belgium and Luxemburg by Volkoren/Munich in March 2005.
